How we helped Tacoma Beast Generate over $1.3M in online Sales in 12 months

Overview

Tacoma Beast is the leading online store for Toyota Tacoma parts and accessories. They were looking for a partner to help them implement a solid advertising strategy to generate more sales and increase their market share.

The Challenge

When we first started working together, the main challenge Tacoma Beast was facing was that a big portion of their sales came from Instagram organic posting. 

They noticed that even though their audience kept growing, there was a decrease in organic reach of their posts due to Instagram's algorythm changes.

They were looking to add new sales channels to help them grow and decrease their dependance on organic instagram traffic to generate sales.

The Solution

After analyzing potential opportunities with the client, we decided to build a multi-channel paid advertising strategy.

Having multiple channels would allow them to grow their traffic, increase their market share and diversify where their sales were coming from. 

On top of that, they wouldn' t be vulnerable to one platform making changes and affecting their sales.

Solution Part 1: Google Search Ads (PPC) Management

We started by implementing Google Search (PPC) campaigns. We carefully tested a varierty of keywords related to the products sold at the store to find the most profitable kewords. 

We also tested different geographical regions to find areas with lower cost per clicks and a bigger return on adspend. 

Fast forward to today, after hundreds of tests, we have a strong portfolio of search campaigs that reliably generate hundreds of sales for Tacoma Beast every month.

Solution Part 2: Facebook & Instagram Ads

On Facebook and Instagram, we implemented  different types of campaigns. We created retargeting campaigns to recover unfinished purchases as well as  new customer acquisition campaigns.

We also created campaigns to encourage existing customer to make new purchases. This helped us increase the lifetime customer value and frecuency of purchases.

In addition to that, each Black Friday season we carefully implement a strategy to maximize sales, which has helped Tacoma Beast surpass Black Friday sales records two years in a row.

Results

With a whoping 37X average return on adspend, our multi-channel advertising strategy has helped Tacoma Beast generate over $1.3 million in sales from paid ads in 12 months. 

We've helped them grow revenue and market share year over year, solidifying their position as the industry leader.

In addition to that, during the 2019 Black Friday / Cyber Monday season, we were able to reach a whoping (115X) return on adspend on our FB/IG Ad campaign!

Paid advertising has become a key pillar of their strategy as they now have a highly profitable and reliable advertising system that generates sales consistently.
